I’m the bestest dog in all the world
And here’s the reason why:
I’ll outrun all the other dogs
And never really try.
I’ll sit and beg and shake a paw,
Yes, even though I’m old,
And I can bark and wag my tail
When I’m not even told.
I’m the bestest dog in all the world -
All others know it’s true:
I’m good at guarding property
And good at guarding you.
I’m there to welcome you back home
I’m there to show I care,
And in return I need your love -
And perhaps your meal to share.
