Background Heading

Who paint the flowers?

    Who play with bees?

Who change the colours

    Of leaves on the trees?

Who tease the squirrels

    And play in the sun?

Why, it's the children of fairies

    Who have all this fun.

Oh, you'll never see them -

    They're terribly shy -

But they'll watch you closely

     As you wander by.

They'll hope that you're kind;

   They'll hope that you're good,

And that you'll love little fairies

   As all children should.
