By Josie Whitehead

A sparrow chirped inside a hedge,

The crow called, 'caw, caw, caw' -

Whilst the donkey in the field below

     Said: 'Yes, ee-ore, ee-ore.'

The little mouse said: 'squeak squeak squeak,'

Whilst the barn owl said: 'Twit twoo'

And the sheep joined in and said: 'Baa baa'

Whilst the cow replied: 'Moo moo.'

The cat then said a loud 'meow'

Whilst the hen said: 'Cluck cluck cluck' -

But who do you think said: 'Quack quack quack?'

    Of course it was the . . . . . . . . . . duck.
