Lots of baby ducklings

    Tapping on their eggs:

Out came some little heads

    Followed by some legs.

Lots of baby ducklings

    Looked at the world outside:

“It’s much too big for us,” they said

And off they ran to hide.

Lots of baby ducklings

    Soon came back again:

And when you saw them on the lake

Well it was very plain -

That they’d decided that the world

Was just the place to be

And all the bread we threw for them

  They gobbled for their tea.
