JOSIE'S POEMS

By Josie Whitehead

It’s a special present:

    Never shared;

       Spoken sharply;

          Whispered softly;

              Sometimes called.

A parents’ love gift:

    Freely given;

         Always hidden;

            Kept forever

                 Safely.

You’ll always hear it,

    But never fear it;

         Often leave it;

              Not achieve it.

                   What?

Well what is it?  We all have one and it begins with "n".

Would you prefer another one rather than the one you were given by your parents?
