Trochaic Metre Performance Poems

Candle flutters - mother mutters;

Rain then patters - raindrops scatter;

  Thunder rumbles - raindrops tumble;

  Chimney’s shaking  -  baby’s waking.

 

Wild wind shrieking - gutters creaking;

Baby’s howling - old dog’s growling;

  Thunder clashing - lightning flashing;

  Rain starts pouring  - - -

 

   B u t . . . Father’s   s n o r i n g !                            

                                                     

                               zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
