What Do You See

Children, children,

    What do you see?

"A cheeky old parrot

    Up in the tree."

Granddad, Granddad,

    Do you see him too?

"No, I see a tiger

    Who lives in a zoo."

Granny, Granny,

    What do you see?

"There’s a very big bird

    And also a bee."

Daddy, Daddy,

    Is it sunny today?

"It’s winter, it’s raining,

    The sky’s dark and grey."

Mummy, Mummy,

    Do you see the snow?

"No, all I can see

    Is a cheeky black crow."

Granny, Granny,

    Now what do you see?

"My dear little grandchild

     Who's looking at me.

It's Raining snow grandchild Main Poetry Index Younger Children
